Redundancy Action Scheme (ReAct) funding is made available by the Welsh Assembly for individuals who have recently been made redundant. The fund can cover up to 100% of the course fees.

The Welsh Assembly Government's ReAct programme is designed to help you find a new job as quickly as possible. Depending on your circumstances the support can include a contribution towards the cost of training, and in some cases financial support for special equipment needs, training materials, travel costs and childcare provision
ReAct - Wales - available to people unemployed in previous 6 months as a result of redundancy and currently unemployed and haven't been in continuous employment for 6 weeks or more since redundancy, or are under current notice of redundancy and are Welsh residents when redundancy took place. Training grants can cover special equipment needs, exceptional travel costs, accommodation, training materials, childcare.

Are you about to be made redundant? Then ReAct can help. "ReAct" the redundancy action fund is a package of support to help you gain new skills, overcome obstacles and improve your chances of returning to work following redundancy. A number of organisations work in partnership to offer support.
The organisation itself may no longer exist, for example if a company goes into bankruptcy or a particular site or department closes down.
The ReAct programme will help over 12,000 redundant workers gain new employment or training.
As part of a package of measures provided by ReAct, redundant workers will receive a training grant designed to replace outdated skills with those sought by prospective employers.
If you are about to be made redundant or have been made redundant within the last six months then you may be eligible for a ReAct redundancy action fund grant. the grant covers up to 100% of course fees and has a total grant of up to £2,500 on individual training.
In the first instance you may wish to visit your local Careers Wales centre to discuss ReAct funding. Careers Wales will provide help and advice on the funding process. They will provide you with a ReAct training plan and application form for you to apply for courses.
